Premium Horticultural Grade Pumice For Plant Pot Topping Or Soil Amendment 1/4 Inch (10oz)

Unlike most horticultural grade pumice, this will come pre rinsed and ready to use. This pumice is 1/4 inch, see photos for idea of size. We currently only have one size, 10 oz which will fill up a sandwich sized bag. 

Pumice is a great for dressing up the top of a planter as a pot topping or using as a soil amendment for carnivorous plants, cactus, succulents and bonsai.

Pumice is created when highly pressurized , super-heated rock is violently ejected from a volcano. The porous configuration of pumice happens because of simultaneous rapid cooling & rapid depressurization.

Pumice is a natural, lightweight, volcanic material widely used in horticulture and hydroponics. The porosity of Pumice provides an abundance of air space providing air around the roots.

The porous nature and natural surface tension around the outside of the Pumice particles allow it to hold water yet retain sufficient air space to optimize drainage and promote strong root growth.

Adding Pumice to substrates help aid in good root health and growth.

Will not break down or get crush like other soil additives.
