The substrate was a good mix of peat, perlite, and glass (which does add some sparkle). I was able to purchase enough substrate to repot my VFT using the size recommendations. I love the fact everything was rinsed and mixed for me! My order arrived quickly, was packaged good, and had a cute hand written note! Will purchase again when needed! Found the supplies and enough information to grow and repot my Venus Fly Trap.

I bought this for my Venus fly trap hoping that a new pot would help it do better instead of the tiny pot it came in. It was to easy to repot.

My four-year-old son got a carnivorous plant from his grandma and is really into your videos and thankfully we found that you sold the kit which has been amazing.

Since moving my flytrap from the tiny, cramped packaging it came in from the big box store to this pot and soil mixture, it has developed 2 full new traps, and is thriving. What got me was the HAND WRITTEN note from the family that operates this little "shop" I guess for lack of a better word. I had little to no idea what I was getting in to when I impulsively bought this tiny plant, and I have never exactly had a green thumb of any kind. But that note, and the quality of what they sell being what as good as it is, as my plant grows, as my collection grows, so to will my connection to this family. I will absolutely continue to support them as their products do my plants. Thank you.

I own several spray/mist bottles and this one BY FAR is my all-time favorite! I don't feel like I'm giving myself a hand injury when I use it extensively. In fact, I was going to buy 2 more and I see that they are currently sold out :( My tillandsias love it too (hence one of the future ones will be for their fertilizer).

I found out the hard way about Carnivorous Plants, especially VFT's, that the water out of my faucet was unhealthy for my plants. So, now I use rain water and condensate out of my AC Condenser units for watering them. It is nice to know that I can now test the water to make sure it is within the limits so my Carnivorous Plants remain healthy and happy.

Brooks was a pleasure to communicate with via email. My bloodworm kit arrived on time and I immediately fed my VFT's. I fed the ones that were open and can't wait to see the results. I actually have a Lowe's purchased VFT and have seen it increase in size so far as my others, I have just seen new growth.
